Girls Brigade

Girls’ Brigade meets on Tuesdays at Ashmont Baptist Church (in Malta Cresent Ashmont) from 6pm - 8pm. The ages range from 5yrs to 18yrs.  We are presently trialling a sandwich club that starts at 5:30pm for girls requiring a healthy dinner before brigades.   It comprises a sandwich, fruit and a drink for $2.

Girls’ Brigade is an international, interdenominational organisation and has been serving churches around the world for nearly 120 years and in Australia for over 80 years. The aim has remained the same: to help girls to become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and through self-control, reverence and a sense of responsibility to find true enrichment of life. Our vision is to see girls lives transformed, God's world enriched.  We believe that when girls are equipped, motivated and engaged in passionately living out their faith, they have the potential to be community and world changers.

Girls’ Brigade is a relationship building, achievement based program which has been developed especially for girls, incorporating physical, social, educational and spiritual aspects.
The program is designed to be challenging, exciting, interactive and relevant, allowing the girls to achieve growth in all aspects of their lives.
