Morning services

What can you expect if you come to a morning service?  We start at 10am.  We love to sing.  Sometimes we sing new songs and sometimes old ones, but either way we desire to sing with joy and thankfulness to God.  The Bible is really important to us and every week someone brings a fresh message from God out of the ancient scriptures.  The speaker aims to show what the Bible means and make clear how it relates to our lives today. Each week we expect the message to reveal some aspect of the power and beauty of Christ.  Prayer and devotion are also really important parts of our time together.  It is very much our desire that the Holy Spirit would work in people’s hearts and lives with truth, repentance, faith, healing, renewing, restoration, and great hope.

During the service the children go out for Sunday School if it’s term time.  The infants and primary are in separate classes.  Three times a term those in year 7-9 go out during the service to learn about what church is, and about different aspects of being a follower of Christ.  A crèche runs during the service starting at 10:15 during term time.

We would love to have you join us on a Sunday morning.  Welcomers are rostered on the door each week and they are aware that it can be daunting to come to a church for the first time.  Our desire is to make your visit a blessing.
